CK is undergoing some pretty big structural changes behind the scenes right now! I’m working on packages, custom rates, and more streamlined communication systems to make your 2026 Events smooth as butter and just as tasty!
For now, the previous system of individual quoting for every order still stands. You can read below to get a feel for that process. But expect to see some big adjustments to the menu, ordering system, pricing, and custom options being implemented soon! The goal is to elevate the experience for y’all, and solve some bottlenecks for me.
In the meantime-
Please, be patient with me! I am a single mom and solo-entrepreneur. I bake every layer, do every store run, pay every bill, and answer every inquiry. It can take me a couple days to dig back into emails when I’ve got a calendar full of cakes going out. The good news is, you can trust that your order will receive the same focused care and attention when it’s your turn on the bake table!!
The Current Order Process:
After receiving your inquiry I will follow up via email to learn more about your event and dessert needs. I generally answer inquiries Mon-Wed, but it can take up to a week for a response depending on how busy the bakery is. I recommend giving as much lead time as possible when booking custom cake art.
Once we have discussed the details and determined the scope of the project via email, I will send you a proposal and quote. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit before putting any cakes on my calendar. The remaining balance for celebration cakes is 1 week before your event.
For wedding clients, the process works a little differently, even for smaller cutting cakes. There’s simply more information and details we need to confirm. Please let me know if you’d like to start with a welcome packet and calendar link to schedule a consultation.
